An apartment operator has purchased a property on the westside of Jacksonville in a recent transaction. Duval County public records show Tapestry Westland Village, an apartment community built in 2020, sold for $65.25 million. The property is located just six miles from NAS Jax.
The buyer was Tapestry Westland Village POE LLC, which shares an address with Tampa-based multifamily company American Landmark. The seller was Arlington Collins Road LLC, which is associated with Birmingham, Alabama-based developer Arlington Properties.
The company purchased the parcel for development for $3 million in 2019.Erik Bjornson and Tyler Nilsson with Newmark brokered the transaction.
The sale of Tapestry Westland Village, which has 266 units, comes to $245,300 per unit. The deal’s $65.25 million total sale price makes it one of the five largest multifamily deals in the Jacksonville metro in 2021.
